On the 6^th of June 2013 Leili received in Beijing two distinguished guests, namely the General Director of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Mr. José Graziano da Silva and the General Vice-Director-General , Mr. He Changchui.

FAO held a meeting with the Chinese Government and several organizations, in the context of which Leili was the only company in charge of receiving FAO officers.

The Chairman Mr. Guo Zhanwu, the Manager Director Mrs. Tang Jie and the Vice Manager of the Overseas Department Mrs. Sally Zhao invited the officers for dinner. Mrs. Zhao took this opportunity to introduce Leili to the guests. Mrs. Tang Jie and Mr. Guo Zhanwu reported the major events and achievements of Leili. At the same time they gave some  feedback about different issues currently affecting the agricultural sector worldwide. The Director and Vice-Director listened carefully, taking detailed notes and showing a very positive attitude towards  future developments of seaweed fertilizers. They pointed out that this kind of new fertilizers has been taking up all over the world, though not enough. They believe that this sector has a very good potential in the future, emphasizing that FAO will support enterprises such asfocusing on research and high technology.

Leili gave Mr. José Graziano da Silva a .the 8^th edition of the magazine Leili People , on which the he wrote “To Leili’s friends, with my warm regards and hope for fruitful work in the future”, congratulating for the 20^th anniversary of Leili.

At the end of the dinner, Leili offered cherries grown with Leili seaweed and granular fertilizer. The Director and Vice Director were both impressed with the quality and the taste of cherries and they highly praised Leili products, hoping for a positive future cooperation.
